Service Description

Fall 2025 series NO CLASS ON 11/27/25 In this class we welcome new families who are making their first steps on the amazing parenting journey that can best be realized through empowerment, confidence, and connection which we strive to provide using evidence based research along with caring and compassion. Our goal for every family is to be well informed and to feel secure in their intuitive nature to protect, bond and nurture their baby. The topics covered in this series include - infant nutrition / picky eaters - physical development and infant movement - infant social development and separation anxiety - elimination communication - early principles of positive discipline - infant language acquisition and language development - age appropriate toys & activities - the importance of play in early childhood - importance of reading to and with children - setting up your family rules & boundaries; choosing a day care/hiring help - a father's perspective on postpartum and the early stages of parenthood - promoting confidence, independence and competence in young infants - benefits of "serve and return" interaction with children - we will be playing, singing, reading and dancing with our babies - maternal and parental postpartum health and wellbeing
