Service Description
This program is part of a capstone project designed by Hayley Foo, an occupational therapy doctoral student at West Coast University. She focuses on developing a wellness program for postpartum mothers, that supports their mental health, physical well-being, and parenting skills. Through workshops, group sessions, and professional guidance, the program provides mothers with essential tools to navigate the challenges of the postpartum period. The benefits of this program include:
Enhanced mental well-being through mindfulness, stress management, and emotional support resources.
Increased confidence in parenting by providing practical tools and knowledge for new mothers.
Stronger social connections through a supportive community of mothers sharing similar experiences.
Access to professional resources to guide postpartum recovery and self-care.
Improved overall wellness by promoting a balanced approach to physical and emotional health.
